Help us improve social health services and programs for seniors in BC

We’re conducting virtual focus group discussions to better understand how social prescribing programs support older adults’ health, wellbeing, and connection to community services. Social prescribing helps link people to supports such as meal programs, transportation, social activities, and wellness services.

You are eligible to participate if you:

  1. Are 55 years of age or older,

  2. Live in British Columbia, and

  3. Have been connected to community supports through a Community Connector / Link Worker (social prescribing program).

We hope you’ll join us by signing up to participate in a 90-minute virtual focus group on Zoom.

What’s involved?

  • A 90-minute online focus group (Zoom or phone-in option available)

  • Small group discussion with 5–7 other older adults

  • Guided conversation about your experiences with social prescribing and review of a new evaluation survey we are developing

  • $50 honorarium paid via e-transfer to compensate you for your time
